WHAT WOULD MAKE YOUR BODY FEEL BETTER?
Are you affected by chronic pain or illness that painkillers can’t help?
Do you lack the energy to enjoy your life and wish you had more motivation?
Are you in search of a way to boost your metabolism, burn calories, and lose weight?
The search for a solution ends with controlled exposure to extreme cold
Exposing your body to invasive medical procedures or the unpleasant side effects of medication may be necessary in some circumstances, but what if there were another way? The human body has an extraordinary ability to heal itself under the right circumstances. All you need to do is put your body into those circumstances to see a remarkable change – and relief from chronic pain, increased energy, and a feeling of rejuvenation.
Whole Body Cryotherapy was first used in 1978 to treat rheumatoid arthritis. Researchers have since identified a host of other conditions that can be relieved with extreme cold. Once rare, Whole Body Cryotherapy is now available to everyone.
Give your body what it needs to feel good
Inflammation is an important part of your body’s immune response, but when it becomes chronic, it causes pain. Some medical conditions that can be aided with Whole Body Cryotherapy are Tendonitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, some skin conditions (Eczema and Psoriais), and muscle and ligament strains.
While inflammation may be reduced with medication, Whole Body Cryotherapy treats it at the source, relieving pain and discomfort while boosting energy and reducing stress. It can even help you lose weight!
DECREASE PAIN AND INFLAMMATION
Chronic pain and inflammation can prevent you from living a full and active life. Medications don’t always help you avoid discomfort while doing what you love.
During a Whole Body Cryotherapy treatment, the cold supercharges your blood with oxygen and beneficial, anti-inflammatory proteins that flush out excess white blood cells.
The result is improved blood flow to injured and inflamed areas, which allows for relief from chronic pain and a faster recovery time for athletes.
INCREASE METABOLISM AND BURN CALORIES
If you’ve struggled to lose weight, you know that creating a caloric deficit is the key to slimming down. After all, a calorie is a unit of heat.
When you step out of the Cryotherapy chamber, your body has a metabolic reaction as it warms itself. In other words, it burns calories!
In some cases, you may burn as many as 500 to 800 calories after a single session, making Whole Body Cryotherapy an effective way to boost your metabolism.
LOOK AND FEEL YOUNGER
Collagen is the protein that supports your skin and gives it a smooth and youthful appearance. As we age, collagen production decreases.
Collagen supplements don’t offer the same benefits as the collagen that your body produces naturally. Whole Body Cryotherapy stimulates the production of collagen.
Using the regeneration ability of your body’s cells, Cryotherapy boosts collagen production, and that can lead to a younger and more vital appearance.
INCREASE MOTIVATION AND IMPROVE YOUR MOOD
You know how difficult it can be to stay motivated when you’re feeling anxious or depressed. Some people struggle to complete routine tasks.
Exposure to the extreme cold of a Whole Body Cryotherapy treatment triggers the body to produce endorphins, the same feel-good hormones that create the “runner’s high”.
After a treatment, the rush of endorphins can make you feel empowered, motivated, and energetic – and ready to handle whatever comes your way.
WHOLE BODY CRYOTHEARPY PROCESS
When you arrive, you will strip down to your underwear and remove all metal jewelry. We will give you the clothing articles before the treatment begins:
☑ Robe
☑ Thermal socks
☑ Booties
☑ Gloves (to protect your extremities)
After you have changed into your robe and protective gear, you will step into the pre-cooled chamber. The technician will adjust the height to ensure your head and neck aren’t exposed to the cold vapor in the chamber. You’ll hand over your robe and the treatment will begin.
During the treatment (which lasts between 1 – 3 minutes), we recommend that you rotate to to ensure even exposure. When finished, you’ll get your robe back, put it on, and step out of the chamber.
FAQs
It’s very cold and that’s a good thing. In most Cryotherapy treatments, the temperature will be between -130℉ and -184℉.
You will not get frostbite. If you stayed in such cold temperatures for long, you would; but a Whole Body Cryotherapy treatment lasts only one to three minutes, and your extremities will be protected. That’s not long enough for frostbite.
You can wear ordinary clothes. When you arrive, you will strip down to your underwear and we’ll give you a robe, thermal socks, booties, and gloves to protect your extremities. You’ll also need to remove all metal jewelry.
There are some conditions that are contraindicated for Cryotherapy. These include pregnancy, high blood pressure, cardiac conditions (a recent heart attack or an arrhythmia, for example), or a recent stroke, and certain chronic conditions such as Reynaud’s syndrome, anemia, and acute kidney/urinary tract disease. *If you have a pre-existing condition, please check with your doctor before scheduling a Whole Body Cryotherapy treatment.
Many athletes use ice baths to reduce inflammation, but they take time and can be uncomfortable. Your body is exposed to lower temperatures with Cryotherapy and treatment can be completed in just a few minutes.
